We built this 240V, 1600W quartz halogen heat lamp for one reason: to give industrial work a fast, focused heat source that shows up on demand. It’s all about getting intense heat right where you need it—quickly—without turning your whole machine bay into a sauna. Think of it as a compact powerhouse designed for jobs where timing and steady output really matter.
Power, Voltage, and Output
This lamp runs at 240V and 1600W, so it’s made to plug straight into standard three-phase or dedicated single-phase industrial setups. That wattage isn’t just a number. It translates into serious heat density in a small footprint. If you need temperatures to jump fast—without heating the entire area—that’s exactly what you want. The heat comes out as shortwave infrared, which gets absorbed quickly by many plastics and coatings. This isn’t about creating a warm glow. Material & Design
We wrapped the lamp in quartz because it can handle the intense filament temperatures and the shock of rapid on/off switching. The halogen fill does a smart trick: it helps keep the filament stable by returning tungsten back to the hot zone. That means less blackening and more consistent output over the life of the lamp. The R7s base keeps things simple—rugged, straightforward, and easy to swap out when it’s time for a replacement. We also added a reflector coating to push infrared energy forward, so you’re not wasting heat on nearby parts. One thing to keep in mind: that high filament temperature means you need to give the fixture some breathing room and make sure the surrounding components can handle the heat.
Where It Shines
This lamp is at home wherever you need fast drying, curing, preheating, or plastic processing. The 240V 1600W rating gives you repeatable heat input, and the shortwave IR profile sinks right into many materials.
