Look, when you buy infrared lamps from the big-name brands like OYATE, you’re paying for a certain level of quartz purity and filament precision. We get that. That’s why we build our lamps to those exact same technical standards. The only difference? We’ve trimmed the fat from the supply chain. You get the same high-spec gear, but you aren’t paying extra just because there’s a famous logo on the box.
The tricky part: Power and Voltage
Here is where a lot of people trip up: matching your voltage to your wattage. If you’re running a 400V high-wattage tube, you get some serious heat density. It’s great for PET blowing or curing lines because it ramps up fast. But there’s a catch. That much concentrated energy hits your reflectors hard. If your cooling system isn’t up to the task, you’re going to fry your sockets way sooner than you should.
What’s actually inside
We use high-purity fused quartz. Why? Because it keeps the lamp from warping when it’s swinging between extreme temperatures. We also use halogen-filled tubes, which keep the filament intact much longer than those old-school vacuum tubes. As for the connections, we stick with the regulars like R7s and Sk15. We did this on purpose. It means our lamps just slide right into your existing machinery. No fuss. We also make sure the pins are seated perfectly, so you don’t have to worry about arcing when you flip the switch.
