We designed this lamp for those moments when you can’t afford to wait. If your industrial process needs to hit high temperatures fast and keep that heat concentrated, this is your tool. It runs on 208V and pulls 1500W, which makes it a sweet spot for those medium-to-long heating zones. The fit matters. The 616mm length isn’t flexible. If your housing is too small, it simply won’t go in. Too big? You’ll end up with cold spots where you need heat. One quick heads-up: make sure your power supply is rock solid. Voltage spikes are the enemy here. They’ll fry the filament before you even get a chance to see what the lamp can do. Why the R7s base? Because nobody likes spending an hour soldering wires during a line change. The R7s interface lets you just drop the lamp in and get back to work. Simple. Inside, we’ve got the halogen cycle working its magic on the tungsten filament. It basically cleans itself as it goes, so the glass doesn’t turn black and your heat stays consistent. We used quartz for the tube because it can take the punch of being flipped on and off repeatedly without cracking. A few tips for the road You can plug this into most standard industrial heaters, but please—keep the glass clean. It sounds minor, but fingerprints leave oils behind. Those oils create hot spots, and hot spots lead to cracked quartz. Not a great way to start your morning. Also, remember that 1500W is a lot of energy in one spot. Your chassis is going to get hot. Really hot. Make sure you’ve got your cooling fans or heat shields sorted so your housing doesn’t warp. If you push it to the limit without some airflow, you’re just going to wear out those R7s contacts way faster than you should.
